*MSG Duane Davis, USA, (RET)

Program Director

Duane is a US Army MSG Retiree, with 20 years of Active Federal Service. Duane retired from U.S. Army Medical Corp in 2007. For the next 5 years, Duane held various roles, Program Manager, Project Manager, Operations Manager, and, Patient Safety Program Manager. During this time he oversaw numerous organizational implementation projects.

From 2012 to 2015, he worked as the Program Manager for NPower Technology Service Corp (Veterans Program) in the North Texas Region. His extensive program management experience, collaborative leadership style, and operational expertise positioned him to successfully launch and manage three IT schools in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Metroplex.

Duane obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia College of Missouri, with a concentration in Psychology. He obtained a MBA from the University of Phoenix in Dallas, TX and a Masters in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management in Irving, TX.

Duane is a member of The Project Management Institute (PMI), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and serves on the Advisory Board for ICHealth.

*SFC Frederick Gregory, USA,(RET)

Program Coordinator/Peer Counselor

Frederick is a US Army SFC Retiree, with 21 years of Federal Service. Fred works with military veterans who need mental health counseling or other social services to improve quality of life. Fred believes in his new mission helping veterans have a more healthy and positive life. Fred has developed close relationships with veteran agencies, mental health providers and veteran ministries.

Fred worked as an Army Medic training deploying Army personnel, the Afghan National Army and Combat Lifesaver students.
Fred holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. He retired from the US Army Reserve in 2016 as a Sergeant First Class with 12 years of active duty experience.

Fred has been married to his lovely wife, Robyn, for 28 years. He is the father of three adult children. His son is currently training to be a Marine Officer at Texas A&M University.

*Ricardo Gomez, USMC

Program Coordinator/Peer Counselor

Ricardo Gomez was born in Tyler Texas and raised in a small town east of Texas. Ricardo graduated from Wills Point High School and 2 days later he joined the United States Marine Corp. Following his graduation from boot camp, he was trained as a field radio operator. His first assignment was with the, ” Magnificent Bastards”, 2nd Battalion 4th Marines out in Camp Pendleton California.

Ricardo spent 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. In that time he served his country honorably with 2 Tours in Iraq, and 2 Marine Expeditionary Units tours.

Ricardo left military services in 2007. He started working for a company called Vista Wall, in Terrell Texas. Five years later Ricardo made a life changing decision to go back to school and start the process of giving back to his fellow brothers and sisters in arms.

Ricardo received an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts at Trinity Valley Community College, a Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from Texas A&M University of Commerce. Ricardo is now working with the Veterans Coalition of North Central Texas. He is working helping those veterans transitioning from military life by educating them on benefits and services which Texas has to offer for veterans.
